Modern white florals for a Ballykealey wedding
Aoife and Steve’s wedding at Ballykealey House was modern, elegant, and filled with soft, timeless florals that reflected their sophisticated style.
Aoife’s bridal bouquet was designed as a loose, asymmetrical arrangement of white roses, spray roses, lisianthus, phalaenopsis orchids, and delicate touches of gypsophila — perfectly complementing her dress.
The bridesmaids, dressed in black, carried round bouquets arranged in a contrasting style, allowing the bridal bouquet to stand out, while the flower girls carried petite, delicate wands.
The groom and his party wore coordinated buttonholes, creating a polished and harmonious look.
For the ceremony, I created a gypsophila unity arrangement with three candles, and lined the aisle with ten airy “cloud” arrangements.
After the ceremony, these flowers were repurposed for the top table, styled with tealights, dinner candles, and pillar candles in mixed single-stem vases, creating a soft, elegant focal point that carried the floral story through the evening.
Aoife has kindly provided a review: “We went with Zemyna for our wedding florals and my goodness she did not disappoint. From the beginning she was so lovely to deal with, listened to exactly what we wanted and made our vision come to life.
She checked in from time to time in the lead up to the wedding to make sure everything was going to plan. On the day we were blown away with the florals, they were presented beautifully. Zemyna gave us instructions on how to handle them, and she stuck around to move the florals to our reception room after the ceremony and did an amazing job. We couldn’t recommend her enough, she has an amazing talent and wish her all the best in the future.”
