Where flowers become feeling
My name is Zemyna, meaning “Earth Goddess” in Lithuanian — a name chosen by my father to reflect a deep connection to nature. After more than 27 years in floristry, I have learned that flowers are far more than decoration; they are storytellers. Each of my floral creations is designed to make people pause, feel, and remember.
Grounded in emotions of joy, love and nostalgia, my work is about capturing moments and allowing them to hold space. It’s never just about the flowers – it’s about the feeling they leave behind.
MY FLORISTRY JOURNEY
My journey into floristry began in the vibrant city where I grew up, shaped by the artistic spirit of my father and his love for flowers. He transformed our family garden into a sanctuary of colourful tulips and taught me how to see the world through the eyes of an artist. His gift for drawing, combined with nature’s beauty, became the foundation of my creative approach.
As our tulip collection grew, a family friend offered land outside the city, where I spent many summers. Those early experiences planted the seeds of my passion for floristry and deepened my respect for nature.
FROM KNOWLEDGE TO CREATIVITY
I later pursued formal training in horticulture and landscape design earning a degree in Green-Belt Technologies and achieving a professional qualification as an Engineer. Alongside this, my lifelong love or art, allows me to approach floristry with a unique, considered perspective. I have a particular understanding of colour, balance and form – three of the most important aspects of floristry.
Over the years I have been honoured to receive recognition for my dedication to floristry, including participating in Irish Florist of the Year and winning the Oasis Wedding Bouquet Competition. These experiences allowed me to step away from commercial floristry and create freely, reminding me why I fell in love with this craft.
These achievements are not about accolades, but about passion, professionalism, and care — values I bring to every design.
DESIGN WITH INTENTION
When I design floral pieces, my goal is not simply to create something beautiful, but something personal and breathtaking. I focus on meaningful moments rather than mass production — designs that invite people to stop, smile, and feel the special moment they are in.
Colour plays a powerful role in my work. Each hue tells a story, sets a mood, and reflects the season. My design philosophy centres on natural, earthy arrangements.
Whether creating a wedding bouquet, styling a rustic venue, or designing a modern centrepiece, every arrangement is crafted to tell a unique, personal story.
When you work with me, you can expect a personalised experience from start to finish. I work closely with each client to understand their vision and create floral designs that reflect their personality and the atmosphere of their event.
Every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure a truly memorable result.
